this is gonna be me today at 5pm post my 4-hour LA anatomy final…then more studying for virology final tomorrow :c BUT THEN I AM LE FINISHED YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeee can’t wait to see the avengers thursday! :D

it’s hitting me…that undeniable feeling that i’m walking out of the eye of the storm that is vet school and it’s not gonna be a pretty sight when i do.

day 12
first exam of the second semester = fin. i went to bed at 10.30pm and woke up at 4am. iunno if you’ve ever heard this but apparently your mind is most clear at that time (if you sleep relatively early i guess). it’s true. you should try it. but i made a clear decision to go back to sleep haha and didn’t get back up until 5.45am. i showered and was all ready to head out the door...
equine wet labs
woke up today at 6.30am. yes on a saturday. not fun. but it turned out to be totally worth it!! today was the annual SCAAEP wet lab to which hundreds of vet students from all over the country come and participate in learning and applying techniques related to equine medicine. my current path is small animal exclusive, but hey it doesn’t hurt to get exposure to large animal medicine as well....

got a face-full of hemostat’s juicy fluids today in anatomy lab…lesson learned = never stick your face closer than 5 inches away from a cadaver while your lab partner is in the process of cleaning heavy fascia. ugh it was gross. good thing my optic nerve/oculomotor nerve/levator palpebrae superioris muscle did their job and prevented any from getting into my eyes. formaldehyde in eye =...
