day 8
got a face-full of hemostat’s juicy fluids today in anatomy lab…lesson learned = never stick your face closer than 5 inches away from a cadaver while your lab partner is in the process of cleaning heavy fascia. ugh it was gross. good thing my optic nerve/oculomotor nerve/levator palpebrae superioris muscle did their job and prevented any from getting into my eyes. formaldehyde in eye = badddd.
also got a buttload of free towel clamps lolll. the phys lab sometimes has random free things they need to get rid of and i’m pretty sure towel clamps aren’t exactly cheap. i mean they’re cheap when compared to other surgical tools but hey. having something to hold towels in place is an important part of surgery!! lol although i highly doubt i’ll actually use these in practice…they look really old/used. but i think i can do something creative with them….here’s a pic for those of you wondering what a towel clamp looks like:

embryo lectures are killing me….by boring me to death!!! why is the process of forming a fetus so lameeeee =.= ok i guess it’s cool to some ppl but forizzles. i’m gonna nod off in that class one day…
i swear sheldon wags her tail when i say her name. it’s more of this weird jerky movement like a gecko’s after it gets detached from the body but i think it’s legit wagging :) she’s also in love with my snuggie…she grooms it and purrs in it and sleeps in it. weirdoooo.
i watched The Help today since i had a free red box rental code and felt like i needed a break (even though it’s only a 4 day week lol) IT WAS SO. GOOD. i need to read the book now. EVERYBODY WATCH IT!
