day 12

first exam of the second semester = fin.

i went to bed at 10.30pm and woke up at 4am. iunno if you’ve ever heard this but apparently your mind is most clear at that time (if you sleep relatively early i guess). it’s true. you should try it.

but i made a clear decision to go back to sleep haha and didn’t get back up until 5.45am. i showered and was all ready to head out the door when code maroon texted me that there was a tornado watch in effect. i switched on the news (thank goodness i figured out how to get channels with the digital antennae thingy) and the meteorologist basically told me to stay inside. so i did. man this dude was really into the storm. i felt like he wanted something big to happen aka a tornado to land just so he could cover it and report it to us lol. i think the station had just gotten new radar tech too b/c he kept getting all technical about the capabilities of the radar and showing us different views and why it was so “modern” lol. kudos to the man for loving his job!

it’s impossible for me to stay awake past midnight anymore. my body/brain just shuts down and sleep calls. like it is right now.
